Peter Knopf (right) congratulates John Hickson after Mr Ambidextrous John won the senior singles final. This has become quite a serious mini tournament for our club... where those over 70 don't have to deal with any younger whippersnapper bowlers. Au Contraire.. it has become very competitive by itself.

 

Finally..... At last Palo Alto wins a Cable Car tournament.
We have the plaque for 2008 to hang alongside the meat axe we won (again) from Berkeley.

All Friendship games are Wednesdays. Check-in at 9:30 at host club. Click on links above to get directions. Two 12 end games with lunch in between. $3.00 per player. Bring your own lunch though host club will provide snacks, coffee, etc.

Allan Bushell (winner) and Terry Hogan finally complete the men's singles tournament. But it was still hot and sunny in early Nov! Allan returned from injury in fine form in both the semi and final.
