We have found that putting the Wicks, our friendly little newsletter, online, is too much work and a waste of time. People do so enjoy getting it in the mail.

So this page does what the print issue cannot do... It provides a colorful photo documentary of the club activities. Scroll down for all the pictures.

Addressing the Haggis

Piping the haggis in at our Robbie Burns night in Jan.
What a great day and evening this turned out to be.

This year the club celebrates its 75th year anniversary. During that time we have had 3 lady presidents. Here they all are at our annual meeting and Xmas dinner. Top is Bonnie Turner (our current president), bottom left is Dorothy Beckett (she is now 101) and also Louise Briggs.

The finalists in women's pairs 2008.
Helene and Sarah won in an extra end finale.. it was that close!

Women's pairs tournament - All the fine ladies that started the day.

Ann and her brother Ed Walker were both in the money at the
Rossmoor opening day tournament.

It is safe to come outside now ladies. You have passed all white inspection.

Rossmoor Opening Day - 100 players + 26 more from Palo Alto.

Even tournament director Pete doesn't know why you can't bowl if your hat is not white! Only in Rossmoor. Not in US rule book!

Maybe this is where Bud learned his delivery stance!

Men's pairs semifinalists: Pete and Bud (winners), Athol, Kevin, Max, Fred, Ken, Don -- Mixed team pairs finalists: Grace and Terry, Ginger and John (winners)
